Lakeside Outfitters – Meet the Man Behind the Brand

 Lakeside Outfitters, founded in July 2023, is the realization of Robert Chaney’s dream to own a local bait and tackle store. Through his dedication and hard work, Robert brought this dream to life and is now proud to serve the Cedar Creek Lake area. An avid fisherman and hunter, Robert has a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for sharing his values and experiences with the community. He enjoys hearing about others’ adventures and learning about the people around him.

Born and raised in Grand Lake Towne, Oklahoma, Robert spent his childhood fishing on the lake and hunting whitetail deer. His lifelong passion for the outdoors led him to co-own Vault Marine in Eustace, TX. Robert and his wife, Tara, have a daughter who shares their love for animals and outdoor activities.
